The IDENTITIES kick-off meeting took place in Bologna (Italy) in 19th – 20th November 2019. All the project partners gathered for a two-day meeting hosted by the University of Bologna at the Department of Physics and Astronomy.
In a collaborative and friendly atmosphere, the IDENTITIES CoP (community of practice) shared objectives, outputs and activities. It also made important decisions about the summer school plan and the distribution of responsibility within the project (click here to see the agenda of the meeting).
The first day began sharing the main ideas and the philosophy of the project: the coordinator Olivia Levrini prepared an overview of IDENTITIES (click here) that was discussed among the community; Alessia Marchi, personnel of the Erasmus plus project manager office in Bologna, dealt with budgeting issue and its operative implications.
The core part of the meeting was was devoted to seminars from the five partners about their views and approaches to interdisciplinarity, also presenting examples of activities carried out in local contexts (the Italian, French, Greek and Spanish presentations are available for download).
In the last afternoon was conducted a workshop aimed to share and discuss possible ideas for the activities to be conducted during the first summer school of the project (to be held in Crete in June 2020).
The kick-off meeting represented an important moment of coordination for the project as well as a chance for triggering good relationship for working together within the project.
